1. Our Ultrasound is very helpful and shows large abnormalities but this is not a
diagnostic ultrasound
2. A diagnostic ultrasound is usually done with a specialist at a speciality center. If your
primary care veterinarian recommended an ultrasound they are usually referring to a
diagnostic ultrasound dose with a speciality center. Please discuss this with your
primary care veterinarian to determine next steps.
